Renovation and villa work
Peninsula renovations are our home ground: villas and bungalows opened up, extended and rewired around original fabric. We join the project early, put the electrical design on paper alongside the build programme, and coordinate rough-in and fit-off with the other trades so the sparky is never the one holding up the plasterer. Where the old board cannot carry the new house, a switchboard upgrade is designed in from the start rather than discovered at fit-off.
New builds
A new build is the one chance to wire a house the way it will actually be lived in: circuits with headroom, switching that makes sense at night, provision for solar, storage and a car before they are wanted. We work from the architect’s drawings and produce our own, and the house is handed over tested, labelled and certified.
Commercial fit-out and maintenance
Shops, hospitality and small commercial buildings across the Shore: fit-outs, alterations, planned maintenance and compliance. Commercial clients get the same in-house certification chain as homeowners, including switchboard reports and inspections issued by our own Registered Electrical Inspector, which matters when the landlord, the insurer and the tenant all want the paperwork.
Specialist projects
Marine, off-grid, heritage, structurally awkward. Boats with shore power and house-grade expectations, baches beyond the network, listed buildings where every penetration is negotiated, and structures that were never meant to hold a cable. If it needs power or light and nobody else will take it on, start here. 26 years in the trade covers a lot of ground that is not in the catalogue.
We work across the North Shore from Devonport, and specialist work travels further.
